AcroYoga in a Nutshell
AcroYoga blends the spiritual wisdom of yoga, the loving kindness of Thai massage, and the dynamic power of Acrobatics. These three ancient lineages form this practice that cultivates trust, connection and playfulness. There are 7 main elements that make up the practice: circle ceremony, asana, partner flow, Thai massage, therapeutic flying, inversions & spotting, and partner acrobatics. Our highest aim is to bring individuals into a state of union with themselves, with each other, and with the divine. From this place of mutual support the true self can be realized, celebrated and shared for the benefit of all.

My Experience with AcroYoga
It has to be said that AcroYoga changed my life.  I had been practising and / or teaching all of the elements of AcroYoga for a good number of years before I met Jaqui Wan.  She was the first European teacher, freshly qualified and in need of an Acrobatic training partner.  As the perfect base for her at the time, we soon started co-teaching and creating a bubble of energy around this new discipline.

It gave me the tools to move from struggling masseur to a confident inspired teacher and bodyworker, able to do what I love.

It is very special for me to be able to help people connect on a real level.  Physical contact becomes more and more important as technology keeps breaking down our old means of community into new, and slightly less directly connected methods.

AcroYoga makes this fun and amazing means of connecting, available and accessible to all…
